Yoo Seung-min, a former lawmaker of the People Power Party (국민의힘), has announced his decision not to participate in the upcoming presidential election primary. He expressed strong criticism towards the party’s lack of introspection and clinging to vested interests. 😠

In a statement released on his Facebook page today, Yoo stated, “Despite the consecutive impeachments of conservative presidents, the party refuses to properly reflect and change its course.” He further questioned the party’s commitment to winning against Lee Jae-myung, a prominent political figure. 🤔

Yoo lamented, “There is no sense of urgency within the party. I ask whether there is even a slight intention to win against Lee Jae-myung.” He also expressed his frustration with the party’s apparent acceptance of electoral defeat and its subsequent focus on preserving its privileges. 😒

He criticized the party’s failure to expand the conservative base into the political center, stating, “Instead of expanding the conservative territory to the center, the shrinking behavior is speechless.” 😶
