Actress Lim Seong-eon, Known from ‘Mountain Villa Meeting,’ to Wed in May!

Actress Lim Seong-eon is getting married! She gained popularity from the original dating show ‘Mountain Villa Meeting – Rose’s War’ (산장미팅 – 장미의 전쟁) and is now preparing for her wedding in May.

According to reports, the wedding ceremony will be held on May 17th. Her fiancé is a non-celebrity, known for his dependable and caring nature. The couple has been sharing their wedding invitations with close friends and family, receiving many blessings.

Born in 1983, Lim Seong-eon rose to fame in 2002 through the KBS2 entertainment program ‘Mountain Villa Meeting – Rose’s War.’ Her outstanding beauty quickly captured the attention of both male contestants and viewers, earning her the nickname ‘Dimple Goddess’ (보조개 여신). She even reminisced about this time on MBC FM4U’s ‘Two O’Clock Date with Ahn Young-mi,’ where she was compared to ‘Ok-soon’ from ‘I am Solo’ and mentioned receiving many roses from popular singers.

After her appearance on the show, Lim Seong-eon actively pursued acting, appearing in dramas such as ‘ 때려 (Ttaeryeo – ‘Strike’),’ ‘연개소문 (Yeon Gaesomun),’ ‘하얀거탑 (Hayan Geotap – ‘White Tower’),’ ‘부탁해요 캡틴 (Butakhaeyo Kaebtin – ‘Please, Captain’),’ ‘청담동 스캔들 (Cheongdamdong Seukaendeul – ‘Cheongdam-dong Scandal’),’ ‘순정에 반하다 (Sunjeonge Banhada – ‘Falling for Innocence’),’ ‘그냥 사랑하는 사이 (Geunyang Saranghaneun Sai – ‘Just Between Lovers’),’ and ‘봄밤 (Bombam – ‘One Spring Night’).’

Currently, she is performing in the play ‘분홍립스틱 (Bunhong Ribseutik – ‘Pink Lipstick’),’ which tells the story of a daughter-in-law gradually understanding her mother-in-law’s life as the latter suffers from dementia after a harsh married life. Lim Seong-eon plays the role of the sister-in-law, acting alongside veteran actresses. The play runs until May 11th at the KT&G Sangsangmadang Daechi Art Hall.
