Yoon Suk-yeol Returns to Private Residence After Term

Former President Yoon Suk-yeol and his wife, Kim Keon-hee, arrived at their private residence in Seocho-dong around 5:30 PM on the 11th. Earlier in the day, President Yoon left the Hannam-dong official residence at approximately 5:11 PM, greeting and shaking hands with young supporters to express his gratitude.

Before departing, Yoon met with senior secretaries and other staff at the Hannam-dong residence. He also took time to bid farewell to the presidential office staff and members of the Presidential Security Service.

In a farewell message released upon leaving the Hannam-dong residence, Yoon stated, “For the Republic of Korea, its liberty and prosperity, which the people and I have been dreaming of I will spare no effort, even if it is a small one.” He added, “Now, as one of the citizens of the Republic of Korea, I will seek a new path for the country and its people.”
