🚆 경의중앙선 Train Emergency Stop in Paju: 2 Injured 🤕

Breaking news! 🚨 An electric train on the Gyeongui-Jungang Line made an emergency stop near Worlong Station in Paju, Gyeonggi Province around 3:20 PM today (November 11th). Two people sustained minor injuries.

According to the National Fire Agency, the train, heading towards Munsan, detected track irregularities and had to halt abruptly. Approximately 110 passengers were affected and had to be transferred to buses 🚌 to continue their journey.

Korea Railroad Corporation (KORAIL) dispatched an initial response team to the site to begin recovery efforts. Currently, the Munsan Station to Geumchon Station section is temporarily operating bi-directionally on a single track.
