The official response received on March 1 stated that “Lee Jun-seok graduated from Harvard University and majored in Computer Science and Economics as a joint concentration.”

The police investigation began in March of the previous year following allegations that Lee Jun-seok violated the Public Official Election Act by publicizing false information about his academic background.
